Bio
Sarah is an outdoorswoman, mother and artist documenting the physical interaction of humans and animals in the landscape. She lives in the Piedmont of North Carolina, and volunteers with the Haw River Assembly, teaches art at Dinner Bell Farm’s summer camps, and cohosts The Campfire’s Edge Podcast, a media project to collect the paranormal experiences of hunters, anglers and others encountering the more-than-human in wild places.

Teaching Experience:
2014-2018 CHA Certified Therapeutic Horsemanship Instructor at Mandy’s Farm, Albuquerque. Designed and implemented a riding program and a Barn Skills class for adults with developmental disabilities.
2012 – 2014 Equine Specialist/Instructor, Sandhill Child Development Center, Los Lunas, NM. Designed and implemented therapeutic riding lessons for teen and pre-teen residents.
2012 Instructor at Harwood Art Center, Albuquerque. Teaching drawing and painting to students aged 7-12.
2009-2012 Graduate TA, University of New Mexico Department of Art & Art History, teaching Drawing I to undergraduate students.
